Meta (Facebook) data deletion callback

How It Works

When you remove the Polished Ads app from your Facebook account and request data deletion, Facebook sends us a notification. We then delete all Meta-related data we have stored for your account, including:

  • Meta ad account connections and access tokens
  • Stored campaign and ad performance data linked to your Meta user ID

After deletion, you’ll receive a confirmation code and a link to this page where you can verify the status of your request.

What Gets Deleted

We remove all data obtained from Meta’s APIs that is associated with your Facebook account. This includes encrypted access tokens, ad account identifiers, and any cached performance metrics tied to your Meta user ID.

Data you provided directly to Polished (such as your Polished account profile, submissions, or payment history) is not affected by this request. To delete your full Polished account, please visit your account settings or email privacy@polished.ads.

Timeline

Data deletion requests are typically processed immediately upon receipt. In rare cases, processing may take up to 24 hours. You can check the status of your request at any time using the confirmation code provided by Facebook.
